- This paper describes the context for collaboration between veterinary science researchers and an illustrator within a broader scientific study and provides an account of the influence of cross-disciplinary engagement on interpretation for the Natural History Illustrator in developing a simple tool for visually assessing the body condition of captive Asian Elephants.
